Individual with Technical Expertise in Health Information Technology

Brent Lamm serves as senior vice president and chief information officer for the UNC Health System. In this role, he has responsibility for all information technology and clinical engineering solutions and services for the health system. Lamm also serves as the system's chief analytics officer, leading the organization's enterprise analytics and data sciences teams and services.

Prior to joining UNC in 2009, Lamm served for more than 10 years in various technical leadership, IT architecture and software development roles in IBM's Global Services and Software Group divisions. During this period, he worked extensively with clients in various industries, including financial services, health care, manufacturing and telecommunications.

Lamm holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University and a master of business administration from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
